Breweries

Located at the Trapp Family Lodge, the von Trapp Brewery & Bierhall is a must visit for any craft beverage enthusiast. The von Trapp Brewery currently produces several lagers brewed from the finest authentic Austrian ingredients and their own pure Vermont spring water.

A favorite among locals, Idletyme's beer lineup represents a traditional take on classic European brewing with a healthy dose of the Vermont hop culture thrown in for good measure. Try their famous Idletyme Double IPA or sample six of their delicious brews with their "brewski."

You can't visit Stowe without trying the legendary Heady Topper from The Alchemist Brewery. This family-owned brewery is committed to using business as a force for social and environmental good. Sip on a brew or two at their seasonal Beer Garden or Beer Cafe, enjoy easy curbside beer pickup, or simply stop by and explore the retail shop.

Wineries

Ellison Estate Vineyard makes natural wine from one of the oldest and largest single plantings of grapevines in Vermont. All wines are made with native yeast fermentations and minimal intervention in the winery, which means that nothing is added or taken away during the winemaking process. This boutique winery offers intimate tastings at their tasting room in the heart of downtown Stowe.

For a family-friendly experience, Cold Hollow Cider Mill is a beloved stop on your way into Stowe. Famous for its fresh apple cider, they also produce a selection of hard ciders available for sampling at their tasting room. Pair your cider with a freshly made cider donut for a true taste of Vermont.

Founded in 2013, Stowe Cider has quickly become a favorite among hard cider enthusiasts with their bold, creative flavors and crisp, delicious taste. Located on Mountain Road in Stowe, their tasting room offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with live music and a rotating selection of ciders.

Distilleries

Handcrafted in Vermont since 2002, Green Mountain Distillers blends the finest ingredients, using small batch fermentation and a proprietary distillation process. Visit their distillery in Morristown and experience a tasting tour with founders and distillers Tim and Howie.
