Flying to Stowe, Vermont

The nearest major airport is Burlington International Airport (BTV), just a scenic 40-minute drive from Stowe. With regular flights from major cities, it’s easy to reach Stowe from almost anywhere. Once you arrive, rental cars and taxis are available in Burlington, Waterbury and Stowe to take you to your destination.

Driving to Stowe, Vermont

Stowe is a short drive from several key cities in the Northeast, making it an ideal destination for road trips. Here are approximate travel times by car from popular cities:

During the winter months, we recommend traveling with snow tires as the roads are well-maintained but conditions can change quickly.

Train and Bus Service

Train and bus services are available into Waterbury, Vermont, approximately 15 minutes from Stowe. Green Mountain Transit (GMT) offers a complimentary shuttle bus service (the Mountain Road Shuttle) that travels through town in the winter months. Getting Around Stowe

Once you're in town, Stowe offers a variety of ways to get around, including buses, taxis and shuttles. The Stowe Recreation Path is a great option for getting around town by bike and will connect you to lots of popular attractions and local businesses.
