Vermont Days: Free Admission to State Parks
Spend the day on the lake, explore historic sites, or cast a line on Vermont Days June 13-14, 2026. This annual weekend event celebrates the arrival of summer with free admission to day-use areas at Vermont State Parks and State-owned historic sites, open to both Vermonters and non-residents.
Additionally, Free Fishing Day is on Sat. June 13 and gives residents and non-residents permission to fish in Vermont for the day without a license.
The closest Vermont State Park to Stowe is Waterbury Center State Park, located on the shores of Waterbury Reservoir. The park is located on a 90-acre peninsula and contains:
