The Lamoille County Players' 73rd season at the Hyde Park Opera House concludes with Ken Jones's "Scrooge's Christmas”, directed by Nathaniel Beyer. In Ken Jones's adaptation of Charles Dickens's classic tale, “A Christmas Carol”, a group of actors portray all the characters of this Christmas tradition. The ensemble provides the songs and sounds as the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is confronted by the Spirits of Past, Present and Future. This unique telling can play to an audience in an intimate or large setting using nothing but costumes and a few props. Scrooge's Christmas runs December 5-7 and 12-14 at the historic Hyde Park Opera House, 85 Main Street in Hyde Park, Vermont. Shows begin at 7 PM on Friday, and Saturday nights, with Sundays (matinees only) starting at 2 PM. Tickets are $20; $15 for students and seniors and are available online at www.LCPlayers.com.
