Hiking 101 and Barnes Camp Loop Guided Hike

Have you been wanting to hit the trails but aren’t sure where to start? Join the Green Mountain Club for a workshop on the basics of hiking, including important gear to bring with you, how to prepare for your hike, where and how to find trails, and what you will experience on trails in Vermont. Then, we'll go on a guided hike of Barnes Camp Loop, a 1.3-mile easy/moderate hike at the base of Mount Mansfield.  Program will take place at the Barnes Camp Visitor Center on Mountain Road in Stowe. Map It Here.  Parking is available at the Stowe Mountain Resort across the street.  Turn in at Stowe Mountain Resort, then turn right into the first parking lot.
