MACC and Town of Morristown host the North Country Mushers Dog Sled Race. The races begin at the Morrisville Lamoille Valley Rail Trail Kiosk and go along the LVRT towards Wolcott. More information at maccvt.org and northcountrymushers.com
An exciting event for all ages!
Dog Sled Races will be held January 31 and Feb 1 at the Morrisville Lamoille Valley Rail Trail (LVRT) Kiosk. The first race is at 9:00am with more races throughout the morning. You can view the race at these locations: LVRT Morristown Kiosk (start), and LVRT crossings at Route 15A, Corley Rd and Elmore Pond Rd. Please be mindful of parking at crossing so that you do not obstruct traffic or the racing teams. Important to note: Morrisville's Oxbow Park parking is for the Dog Sled teams only and closed to the public on both days. Parking is available at other locations in the village.
