Crafty Kids Farmers Market

Join us on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month this summer and enjoy the wonderful work of our own young artists and crafters. The Crafty Kids Farmers Market showcases products/food that have been produced, created or designed by young artists/crafters/entrepreneurs. Paint rocks? Make jewelry? Bake cupcakes? Draw pictures? Write poems? Everyone who makes something themselves can sell their crafts outside the toy store. All ages/skill levels are welcome!

This year’s newest craft are “Concretions." Concretions are hard, compacted rocks that
form inside softer sedimentary layers. Some look like tortoise shells and others look like
fossils. Some are so symmetrical you would swear they were manmade, but they are
not. They are nature’s own creations, with the help of glaciers. One of our crafty kids
finds these and sells them at our Crafty Kids Farmers Market.
