Author Event at Bear Pond Books with VT Journalist, Nat Winthrop!
Join Bear Pond Books in Stowe, Vermont on Saturday, 11/21 from 11am to 1pm for an author meet & greet book signing event! We are excited to welcome Vermont journalist, Nat Winthrop to promote his book, "On the Record".
About the Book:
Reporter and publisher Nat Winthrop has collected articles spanning two decades covering a wide range of topics, including getting a grip on health care costs, landmark Vermont Supreme Court decisions, our communities' response to diversity, profiles of creative people in theater, film, and literature, and many other subjects. These stories have stood the test of time and, along with Nat's updates, show how little many of the aspects of life in Vermont have changed over the past decades.
About the Author:
Nat Winthrop is the former publisher of the Vanguard Press (1978–1990) and Vermont Times (1990–1995). He was a co- founder of AlterNet, launched in 1987, and served for 20 years on the boards of Kingdom County Productions and Toward Freedom, an international human rights journal. He was executive producer of Freedom & Unity: The Vermont Movie and produced the documentaries Rookies at The Road and Act of Faith: The Making of Disappearances. He is president of the Kingdom County Productions’ board of directors.
