Saturday Cinema on the Lawn
July 20 & August 10, 2019Relax and enjoy summer nights in Stowe at Saturday Cinema on the Lawn featuring two outdoor film screening events on the Stowe Free Library/Helen Day Art Center lawn. Saturday Cinema on the Lawn will feature a lawn party before the movie screening at dusk, and also have movie-themed concessions and other special features. Entrance to the movie nights are free of charge (food and beverages are additional) and open to all.
Movie Schedule
Saturday, July 20, 2019: Grease
- 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.: Stop by for the lawn party before the movie screening. There will be sweet treats, 50’s music, a DJ, a piñata, dancing, free ice cream floats, hula hoop contests, a taco truck (weather permitting) and lots more fun at this downtown Stowe event! Guests will have the chance to wine a Harry Potter toy chest. Put on your best poodle skirt or don your leather jacket and join in the fun!
- 9:00 p.m.: Stay until dark for the outdoor film screening. Bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets to enjoy this wonderful family film!
Saturday, August 10, 2019: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
- 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.: Drop in for the lawn party featuring movie-themed food, adult and non-alcoholic beverages, music and sing-along, children’s activities and more!
- 8:30 p.m.: Outdoor movie screening of this magical film. Bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs and get comfy for a beloved Stowe tradition!
