100ON100 Relay RaceAugust 15, 2020
The 100on100 Relay is a 100-mile team running relay race through the Heart of Vermont. Runners from across the country converge on the Green Mountain state each August for this long distance relay along scenic Route 100.
Route 100 runs through the heart of Vermont and there’s 100 of its most picturesque miles for you in the 100on100 Relay. Starting at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont, your Full Team (4 – 6 runners) or Ultra Team (2 – 3 runners) will wind its way down to the Okemo Mountain Resort in Ludlow, Vermont – all in one day. At the finish participants can recount all the wonderful stories from the route while enjoying food, music and beer.
What is the 100on1oo Relay?
The 100 on 100 Relay is a team based distance running experience. The event starts early in the morning and most participants finish between 8:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. This is a point to point course. The total distance is 100 miles and the course follows scenic route 100 the entire way. Each team has one van that holds all the members that are not running. The van travels from one transfer station to the next. The course displays all the angles Vermont has to offer from small towns and farms, to mountains and lakes. This event serves as a charity fundraiser for Vermont based youth charities that promote active and healthy lifestyles in support of self-esteem development.
