                Vermont Bicycle Tours
The most beautiful rides in Vermont
Smugglers Notch Cycling’s goal is to provide each and every cyclist the most amazing and memorable bicycle tour experience possible. Since we ride off the main roads exclusively all season long, we know the beautiful back roads better than anyone, so come with us and  enjoy the most beautiful rides in Vermont!

Smugglers Notch Cycling offers guided single day, 3-day or 5-day Vermont bicycle tours on the roads of the Vermont countryside, near Stowe, on the Lake Champlain Islands or climbing in the Green Mountains.  The single day tour is for those already lodging in the area. The multi-day tours  include lodging, 3 or 5 riding days and a sailing cruise on Lake Champlain.

Tours are limited to six cyclists with each ride designed between 15 and 40 miles, off the main roads with extremely low traffic, and magnificent scenery. Lodging is in the iconic village of Stowe or on the beautiful Champlain Islands.  Post ride activities may include kayaking, visiting a winery or brewery, the Trapp Family Lodge, a Stowe Mountain Resort gondola ride, and a drive through Smugglers Notch.

Tour Areas

Vermont Countryside

The countryside surrounding Stowe and Smugglers Notch is some of the most beautiful for riding in all of Vermont, with green rolling hills, farms with old red barns, grazing cows, twisting rivers, storybook towns and unrivaled mountain views.

Lake Champlain Islands

The Lake Champlain Islands are South Hero, North Hero, Isle La Motte and Grand Isle, and has been aptly named The Beauty Spot of Vermont. Ride next to the water with views of Vermont’s beautiful Green Mountains or New York’s amazing Adirondacks.
