Special Holiday Bordeaux & Burgundy Tasting
Back to Trapp Family Lodge
Join Trapp Family Lodge in the Wine Cellar for a Special Holiday Event of a Burgundy & Bordeaux Classic Regions of France wine tasting on Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
Ah, the finesse of Burgundy, the strength of Bordeaux, the great history and reputation of both. Centuries ago the Duke of Burgundy insisted that all red grapes except Pinot Noir be torn from his realm and to this day Pinot Noir rules in Burgundy. Centuries ago the British developed the wine industry in Bordeaux and the region has long been synonymous with great wines of the world. We will taste Burgundies from Santenay and Gevrey-Chambertin and Bordeauxs from Pomerol, Margaux and Saint-Estephe.
Come enjoy New Year’s Day in style.
Price is $40. Please call or see the front desk to place reservations at (802) 253-5742. Doors open at 4 p.m. They suggest you arrive no later than 5 p.m. to avoid feeling rushed. People come and go during the tasting which is an informal walk around format. The event ends at 6 p.m.
