Roots is a community-based fundraising event presented by Cork and Strawberry Hill Farm in Stowe. In 2018 & 2019 we hosted a tent party featuring a walk-around wine tasting & food sampling where 100% of proceeds from ticket sales were donated to Vermont Foodbank’s “Vermonters Feeding Vermonters” program. After 2 years in the pandemic, the Vermont Foodbank needs our support more than ever with 1 in 4 households becoming food insecure. This year the proceeds will be donated directly to the Vermont Foodbank for them to allocate where it is most needed. Roots showcases natural wine curated by Cork, local beer & cider producers, local restaurant bites as well as artisan bread, cheese, salumi makers. Roots is also a zero-waste event.
