This free event takes place at Spruce Peak on Saturday, November 26 from 10a.m. to 4 p.m. Representatives from Sunrise Mountain Guides, Mountain Ops and Stowe Mountain Rescue will be there to help prepare folk to adventure safely in the backcountry this Winter. There will be opportunities for hands-on skill development and the chance to check out the latest offerings in backcountry gear. There will be prizes and a raffle and good vibes. Come see the gear that we use and ask any questions relating to winter adventure, backcountry gear and safety. With backcountry use on the rise, our intention is to help get people prepped for a fun and safe Winter ahead – this means fine tuning your plan, having the right gear and knowing what to do when things go South. It’ll be a fun and sociable event and beats sitting on your sofa!
