Closing Day & Sunrise Service at Stowe Mountain Resort

Join fellow early risers atop Mt. Mansfield for a non-denominational Easter Sunrise Service – on Stowe Mountain Resort’s anticipated last day of winter operation – provided by the Stowe Community Church. One complimentary Mansfield Gondola ride will be available for guests on Sunday, April 17 between 4:30 a.m. and 5:40 a.m. to transport the public to the service (weather permitting). Skiing or riding down will also be weather dependent, check back closer to the event for details.
Tips:
- Gondola loads between 4:30 a.m. and 5:40 a.m.
- Arrive early and allow time to park and walk to the Gondola Barn as the Mountain Gondola closes to the public promptly at 5:40 am.
- Dress appropriately for mountain winter conditions include wearing proper footwear (Ex: snow boots, snow pants, hats, gloves, etc.)
- Check the Conditions Report for projected morning temperatures the evening before the service.
- Headlamps can be helpful but not necessary.
- All foot passengers will be required to download the Mansfield Gondola. Hiking will not be allowed down the mountain.
