California Chardonnay Tasting
Back to Trapp Family Lodge
Join Trapp Family Lodge in the Wine Cellar for a California Chardonnays wine tasting on Saturday, October 19, 2019.
Chardonnay didn’t really get started in California until the 1940s. That seems fairly recent considering how prevalent the grape is today.
Today Chardonnay is the most widely planted grape in California and the biggest selling grape varietal in the U.S. overall.
We’ll taste five Chardonnays from four California appellations.
Price is $20. Please call or see the front desk to place reservations. 802 253-5742. Doors open at 4 p.m. They suggest you arrive no later than 5 p.m. to avoid feeling rushed. People come and go during the tasting which is an informal walk around format. The event ends at 6 p.m.
